This album is a different beast compared to their first effort, 'The Light'. Guitar ripping is more present and voice is even more haunting and ethereal, making this album more intimidating and less subtle. If that is a good or bad thing, it depends on the taste of the listener. As their previous record, this is a downward spiral into the abyss, diving deep through the darkness.
