about

My second solo album, "Paramour" is a concept album inspired by the stories of former inmates at Ireland’s Magdalene Laundries. The Laundries were institutions founded in the 19th century for the rehabilitation of “fallen women” – unwed mothers, prostitutes and the mentally ill to name a few – their stories also serve as a point of reference for my own past experiences at a convent school in Dublin.
